Brian D. “Chico” Pritchard

PORTAGE – Brian D. “Chico” Pritchard passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at the age of 65, at his home in Portage.

Brian was born in 1961, to Robert James and JoAnn (Peeper) Pritchard in Portage, Wisconsin. Brian operated equipment and drove truck his whole life. If he wasn’t driving them, he was fixing them. He was the “go-to guy” for just about anything that needed fixing. Brian enjoyed helping friends and relatives with no expectations and always had a joke or story to tell.

Brian is survived by his mother, JoAnn Pritchard; his sisters, Wendy (Rick Klade) Pritchard and Ann (Craig) Robson; his uncle, John Pritchard; other relatives and many, many friends; and his beloved cat, Princess Kitty. Brian was preceded by his father, Robert Pritchard; his uncles, Ken Pritchard and Tom Pritchard; as well as other relatives and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:30 p.m.at Pflanz Mendrala Funeral Home, in Portage, on Thursday, October 15, 2026, with Chaplain Nancy Davis.officating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until the time of services. Inurnment will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
