Sharon Sue (née Johnson) Krueger
PARDEEVILLE—Sharon Sue (née Johnson) Krueger, age 77, of Pardeeville, passed away on Saturday, September 19, 2026, at her home, after a very brave and courageous battle with cancer.
Sharon was born on August 12, 1949, in Taylorville, Illinois, daughter of Dwight Frederick Sr. and Lillian Irene (Lucas) Johnson.
Sharon married Jack Krueger, they have a son and a daughter. Sharon worked at Piggly Wiggly, Kwik Trip and Pick ‘N Save, where she was the store manager for many years. Sharon loved Christmas, gambling, and taking trips to Las Vegas, garage sales, shopping, always looking for that special deal! Many country concerts were shared on trips with her sisters. She also enjoyed watching the Packers, Badgers and Brewers. Sharon shared many trips with her husband in their camper to NASCAR races and numerous trips to Shipshewana, IN and anniversary trips to Appleton for Christmas shopping. She leaves behind her adored and beloved dog, Lily.
Sharon is survived by her husband of 47 years, Jack; stepson, Jim (Stephanie) Krueger; stepdaughter, Bonnie (Bob) LaTour; step-granddaughter, Autumn Mees (Josh Frant); step-great grandchildren, Gavyn and Gabe; step-great granddaughter, Summer (RJ) Visco; step-great grandchildren, Bowen, Ralphie and Clinton; step-granddaughter, Taryn (Derek) Childs; step-great grandchildren, Siera, Harper, Blakelee and Maverick; sisters, and second mother to, Connie (Ken) Dalessandro, LeAnn (Mike) Konicek, Sandra (Bob) Bowers; brother, Fred (Karen) Johnson; many nieces and nephews, who adored her; and other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dwight and Lillian; brother, Gary Johnson; and sister, Janine Knox.
Services will be held at Pflanz Mendrala Funeral Home, in Portage (www.pmmfh.com), on Monday, September 28, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. with Derek, from Agrace Hospice, officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until the time of services. Burial at Silver Lake Cemetery, in Portage, to follow.
