Sandra R. Gabbei

PARDEEVILLE ‒ Sandra R. Gabbei, age 85, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at home.

Sandra was born on September 27, 1940, to Herbert and Gladys Edwards. On April 24, 1961, she married Harry Richard Gabbei, in Delavan, WI. Together they made their home in Poynette, Wisconsin, where they raised their family. They were blessed with four children, Tammy, Laurie, Randy, and Susan.

Sandra worked a couple summers at the Arlington Canning Factory but spent most of her life being a caregiver for her son, Randy.

Sandra loved garage sales, going on rides in the car, and doing her ceramics.

Sandra is survived by her daughters, Laurie, Susan (Roger) Walker; son, Randy; son-in-law, Dale Bakken; nieces, Carol Kluender, Deb (Dan) Cloute, Dawn (Steve) Geisler, Donna Doyens; nephews, Clyde (Carolyn) Eakins, Jeff Eakins, Craig (Lyn) Edwards, Jeff Edwards, Wayne (Wendy) Edwards, Ronnie (Susie) Edwards; and other nieces, nephews, and close friends; grandchildren, April (Cody) Falk, Cody Schaefer (Gabby Gavinski), Shyanne (Angel) Nicolas, and Mikel Loadman.

She was proceeded in death by her husband, Harry Richard; daughter, Tammy; her parents, Herbert and Gladys Edwards; brothers, Herbert Edwards, Donald Edwards, and Harold Edwards; sisters, Fayette Eakins, Beveraly Bultman, Darlene Harris, and Sally Edwards; brothers-in-law, Claude Eakins, Jim Harris, and Kobus Bultman; sister-in-law, Marion Edwards; many other deceased nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Pflanz Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette, with Chaplain Nancy Davis officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Poynette.
