Gary W. Davis

WILD ROSE / PORTAGE – Gary W. Davis, age 75, of Wild Rose, formally of Portage, Wisconsin, passed away on September 21, 2026, in his home.

Gary was born on February 2, 1951, the son of Carl and Lucille (née Pugh) Davis, in Portage, Wisconsin. After his schooling, he served our country in the U.S. Army. Gary worked with his hands in the construction industry. He was a firm believer in God and enjoyed going to church.

Gary is survived by his daughter, Nicki Davis-Rust; brother, Leon Davis; sisters, Brenda Coon, Dawn Fritze, and Carol (Michael) Adams; along with many nieces, nephews, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Gary requested no services be held at the time of his passing.

Pflanz Mendrala Funeral Home, in Portage, is assisting the family.
