Zachary Taylor Salmi

MAUSTON – Zachary Taylor Salmi, age 26, of Mauston, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at Mile Bluff Medical Center in Mauston.

Zachary was born on December 15, 1998, in Minnesota, to parents Keith Salmi and Kimberly Smock. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, video games and he loved being with his family.  His son was his world.  Zachary spent all his days with his son and fiancé of nine years.  He was a die-hard Vikings Fan and a self-proclaimed Nerd.  Zachary had a great sense of humor and loved making people laugh.  He is a “foodie”. 

He is survived by his son, Jaxson Reino “Bubba” Salmi;  his fiancé, Tiffany “My Love” Coleman;  his father, Keith Allen “Fat-Man” (Amy) Salmi;  his mother, Kimberly “Lady” Robeson;  his step-father, Steve “Dude-Man” Robeson;  five brothers, Stephen Robeson, Deion Salmi, Evan Robeson, Kaiden Foster and Wyatt Jashinski;  ten sisters, Lizzy “Miss Beth” Robeson, Josie (Danny) Salmi, Trin (Josh) Robeson, Katelyn Robeson, Abby (Adam) Robeson, Liv (Antonio) Robeson, Kiara Foster, Grace Robeson, Jazzy Robeson and Kyrstin Skiff;  his grandmother, Clara Salmi;  his honorary in-laws, Raymond (Jackie) Coleman and Darren (Devon) Foster;  many aunts and uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Reino Salmi, grandfather, Joe Erjavec, and brother, Joey Ott.

A Celebration of Zachary’s Life will be held at a later date.
