Barbara Ann McFaul

PORTAGE – Barbara Ann McFaul, age 88, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Heritage House, surrounded by her loving family.

Barbara was born on October 29, 1936, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the daughter of Clifford and Hazel (Pierce) Alleman. After graduating high school, she married Linden O. McFaul on May 7, 1955, in Kenosha. Barbara was very polite, however, she had a great sense of humor! Even though she never drove, Barbara had a very active social life by being a member of the Briggsville American Legion Auxiliary Unit 329 for over 50 years and volunteering regularly. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, liked playing horseshoes, camping with her husband, reading, watching game shows, soap operas, and doing puzzles. Years ago, she liked to gamble, play bingo, was and, more recently, loved going on day trips with her Heritage family and staff at Heritage House. She was also a member Briggsville United Methodist Church.

Barbara adored her family! She never forgot birthdays, anniversaries, or special occasions. She was an excellent cook and looked forward to every week when family got together for Sunday meals. Home made soup was her specialty. And everyone craved her homemade cookies.

She is survived by her son, Rich Linden (Dency) McFaul, Briggsville; daughters, Susan Ann McFaul, Fort Atkinson, Pamela Jean Roll, Briggsville, Barbie Ann (Tony) Barton, Coloma; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Dale Alleman; her beloved, Kitty, the cat; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Linden; son-in-law, Thomas Roll; brothers; sisters; and sister-in-law, Marion.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2025, Briggsville United Methodist Church, in Briggsville, WI. Burial will follow at Big Spring Cemetery, 364 Golden Court, Wisconsin Dells, WI. A visitation will be on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be sent to the family.

The family would like to give special thanks and gratitude to nurses and staff at Heritage House and Heartland Hospice for their love and care.
