Paul Henry Kaether

PORTAGE – Paul Henry Kaether, age 93, of Pardeeville, formerly of Lodi, passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2025.

Paul was born on June 27, 1931, in Lodi, the son of Ewald and Irene (Wiatrok) Kaether. He served his country during the Korean Conflict with the U.S. Marine Corps. Paul was a member of Portage’s American Legion Post 47 and VFW Post 1707, and the Optimists in Lodi. He was a retired member of Wisconsin Laborers Union Local 464 and an avid sports enthusiast.

He is survived by his children, Kent R. (Barbara) Kaether, Katherine K. (Roger) Kaether-Frank, Kami K. Kaether and Mathew E. W. (Sarah) Kaether;  his daughter-in-law, Vicky Kaether;  13 grandchildren, Chad, Ryan, Ashley, Taylor, Aaron, Chrysteena, Ryan, Allison, Kennedy, Brady, Natalie, Harper and Hadleigh; many great-grandchildren; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son, Keith, his great-grandson in infancy and his sister, Karol Kaether.

Respecting Paul’s wishes, a private family service will be held.

Pflanz Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage is assisting the family.
