Dean Robert Underdahl

PACIFIC TOWNSHIP – Dean Robert Underdahl, Sr., age 73, of Pacific Township, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Dean was born on December 6, 1951, in Portage, the son of Leland and Jean (Padfield) Underdahl. He was married to the love of his life, Dawn Ellen Wegner, on September 4, 1998.  Dean retired from the Columbia County Highway Department after more than 30 years.  He loved country music and dancing, camping and family gatherings. 

He is survived by his wife, Dawn;  five children, Tracey (Zoe’) Underdahl, Troy (Amanda) Underdahl, Dean Underdahl, Jr., Mallory Schwenn and Aaron (Angela) Schwenn;  his sister, Bonnie Seaton;  twelve grandchildren;  three great-grandchildren;  other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and in-laws.  

A Celebration of Dean’s Life will be held at a later date.
