Thomas F. Hansen

PORTAGE – Thomas F. Hansen, age 82, of Portage, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Our House, in Portage.

Tom was born on November 13, 1941, in Madison, the son of Arnold and Agatha (Miller) Hansen. He had worked for Northwest-Delta Airlines, retiring after 40 years.  Tom enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, and hydroponic gardening.  He loved growing orchids, painting, wood carving, and using his flight simulators.

He is survived by his sister, Phoebe Cole; niece, Sue (Jeff) Jones; nephews, R.J. (Amy) Cole and Andy (Maria) Cole; great-nieces, Taylor Cole, Samantha Jones and Tatum Cole; great-nephews, Jordan Jones, Jaden Cole and Sawyer Cole; great-great-nephews, Brecker Cole and Maverick Marsala; cousins and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Jerry Hansen and his brother-in-law, Roger Cole.  

A Celebration of Tom’s Life will be held at Dino’s in Portage, on Sunday, November 10, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.  Inurnment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
