Evadne M. Hahn

LEEDS TOWNSHIP – Evadne M. Hahn, age 91, of the Township of Leeds, went to Heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Friday, May 24, 2024, at her residence.

Evadne was born on October 8, 1932, in Poynette, the daughter of George and Helen (Stebbins) Bauer.  She was a graduate of Poynette High School, Class of 1950.  Evadne was married on June 7, 1952, at the Poynette Presbyterian Church to Lloyd Hahn.  She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Arlington.  She cooked seasonally at Del Monte in the cafeteria, and also for the DeForest School District for over 20 years, retiring at age 80.  Evadne was also a member of the Poynette Historical Society and Library, and the Arlington Curling Club.  She enjoyed flower gardening, bird watching and reading books.

She is survived by her husband, Lloyd;  her children, Linda Hahn and Brian Hahn; her brother, Dale (Louise) Bauer;  her brother-in-law, Eugene Hahn;  34 nieces and nephews, four nephews on the Hahn side;  other relatives, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, Kathryn, Margaret, Olive, Carol and Ferne;  four brothers, Robert, George, Kenneth, and Rolland;  her sister-in-law, Lorraine Hahn;  a nephew, Stuart Johnson and a niece, Doreen Wohlferd.

A Graveside Service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at Arlington EUB Cemetery, with Rev. David Juhl officiating.  Burial will follow.

The Pflanz Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette is assisting the family.
