Sharron was born on December 18, 1943, at the Methodist Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin, the daughter of Warren and Violet (Kreier) Thiessen.  She lived her entire young life in Poynette and graduated from Poynette High School, Class of 1962.  Sharron married Bernard Wells on June 30, 1962, at Poynette Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on September 28, 2012.  She was a member of Zion  Lutheran Church in Leeds.

Sharron was active in her younger years with bowling and snowmobiling in Northern Wisconsin with family and camping around Southern Wisconsin with friends.  She moved with her family out west in the early 1980’s to Hurricane, Utah; Yerington, Nevada and eventually down to Tucson, Arizona for 7 years.  She returned to Wisconsin in 1992, settling again in Poynette, eventually purchasing the Frontier Bar with Bernie and running it for 10 years.  Sharron was employed by Dean Health Insurance for almost 20 years, retiring in 2010 to help take care of her ailing father and then her husband, Bernie.  Sharron had a lifelong love for her pets, never missing an opportunity to spoil them as her last dog, a Mastiff named Maia can attest to.

Sharron loved to crochet and cross-stitch, often gifting her work to family and friends.  She loved to travel in her later years to Branson, Missouri; Cancun, Mexico and North Carolina to visit family.

In her later years, Sharron enjoyed watching TV with her favorites being Law & Order, animal shows and Hallmark Channel.  Even when her memory started failing, her love for her family was still there.
