Karl W. Randall

PORTAGE – Karl W. Randall, age 46, of Fort Winnebago Township, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 28, 2023, at home, surrounded by his loving family.

Karl was born on November 29, 1976, in Tomah, the son of Wayne and Linda (Dettmann) Randall.  He graduated from Tomah High School in 1995.  Karl served his country with the U.S. Marine Corps from 1995 until 2011.  He married Stacy Corning on October 2, 2021, in Baraboo. Karl loved all and any Wisconsin sports.  He loved being outdoors in the country and hanging out with his dog, Bucky Bear Randall.

He is survived by his wife, Stacy; three sons, Dominic, Justin and Kail Randall;  step-children, Hayden (Ashlee) Dodge, Oxford and Journey Dodge, Fitchburg;  grandchildren, Graham and Bea Dodge;  his father and step-mother, Wayne and Mary Randall, New Lisbon;  his mother and step-father, Linda and Jerry Lietz, Norwalk;  his twin brother, Kevin Randall, High Point, NC;  his sisters, Lisa Randall and Tammy Snyder;  fathers- and mothers-in-law, Clifford and Liz Corning, Robin Michael;  sisters- and brothers-in-law, James and Trina Gaunt, Chad Holmes, Shawna Holmes and children;  other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Eva and Carl Randall, Garland and Alta Dettmann; his sister, Heidi Randall and his nephew, Matthew Hicks.  

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday, May 5, 2023, at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, with the Rev. Karen Hofstad officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Portage, with military honors provided by U.S. Marines, assisted by Portage Area Veterans Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, and from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Friday at the funeral home.
