Kenneth Russell Leathers

COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, UT – It is with a heavy heart that we announce that on June 6, 2022, in Cottonwood Heights, Utah, Kenneth Russell Leathers has completed his duties here on earth and has entered heaven to be with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Ken was born on June 2, 1976, in Madison, Wisconsin to Daniel and JoAnn (Lochner) Leathers. Ken spent time growing up in the Manitowoc and Portage areas, where he spent many days playing with his brothers and cousins.  When Ken was 15, he developed his love for clocks when he got his first job in an antique store.  From there, he developed many other loves, including antiques, luxury cars, and Christmas.  Ken was a fabulous decorator and had a knack for making things great.  Ken loved animals and had several pets throughout his life.  He was especially close to his dogs, Truffles and Cosmo, and his bird, Ava.  Ken was an amazing friend and had friends from Wisconsin to Utah, where he spent his last 15 years. Ken was so deeply loved by all and will be missed.

He is survived by his mother, JoAnn Puchter; his father, Daniel “Leathers” Carter; stepmother, Connie Leathers; and grandma, Laverne Puchter.  He is survived by his siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, as well as his stepfather, Richard Puchter.

A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, September 10th, 2022, from 1-4 p.m. at the American Legion Post 244, 452 N. Main St, Westfield, Wisconsin. There will be a time to share memories at 2 p.m.
