Austin R. Moore

BRIGGSVILLE/WISCONSIN DELLS – Austin R. Moore, age 19, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 27, 2017, while attending college at UW Milwaukee.

Austin was born on June 4, 1997, in Madison, the son of Jerald and Cheryl (Morgensen) Moore. He graduated with honors from Wisconsin Dells High School in 2015 and was attending UW Milwaukee. Due to the excellent care he received after a severe car accident, he had decided to change his major to Physician’s Assistant at Marquette University. Austin loved to travel, enjoyed volunteer work and helping those in need.

He is survived by his father, Jerry (Lori) Moore of Briggsville; mother, Cheryl (Dan) Moore of Wisconsin Dells; brother, Dylan (Samantha) Moore of Briggsville; grandparents, Tom and Gretchen Resan of Wisconsin Dells, Raymond Moore of Saddle Ridge; aunt, Ann Roberts of Portage; cousin, Kirk Roberts; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Vonnie Morgensen, Charlene Moore; and uncle, Jeff Moore.  

Memorial services will be held at Portage United Methodist Church, on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at 5:00 p.m., with Rev. Tom Countryman officiating. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a scholarship to be used for students desiring to enter the medical field.
