Ethan Lurquin

ARLINGTON – Ethan Lurquin, age 21, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017.

Ethan was born on December 28, 1995, in Madison, the son of R.J. and Helen (Neiman) Lurquin, Jr. Ethan was a graduate of Poynette High School, Class of 2014. He was an accomplished athlete, playing football, basketball and track. He also played basketball for one year at MATC, where he earned All-Conference and All-Regional Honors. Ethan struggled with the disease of addiction for six years.

He is survived by his parents, R.J. and Helen of Arlington; grandparents, Robert (Vi) Lurquin of Sun Prairie, Joseph (Claire) Neiman of Baraboo; three brothers, Eli Lurquin of Oshkosh, Elliot Lurquin of Sun Prairie, Erik Lurquin of Arlington, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. He was preceded in death by cousins, Alex Neiman and Jessica King.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Poynette with Fr. Balaraju Eturi presiding. Burial will be at Hillside Cemetery in Poynette. Visitation will be at the church from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.                   .
