Erin Ann Kelly-Tollison

RIO — Erin Ann Kelly-Tollison, age 48, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 13, 2017, at her home in rural Rio, Wisconsin.  

Erin was born in Portage on June 26, 1969, to Perry and Geraldine (Colburn) Kelly. She graduated from Portage High School in 1987. Her marriage to John Tollison, the love of her life, took place in March 2011. Erin was employed by Culvers in Portage for many years and was known for her incredible speed and organizational skills as she moved around the restaurant. She enjoyed reading, especially books by V.C. Andrews. She always looked forward to John’s yearly May Bash held on their property. Erin had a great love and connection with all animals. She also loved music, having been the biggest fan of Def Leppard.  

She is survived by her husband, John; step-daughter, Ariel; parents, Perry and Geraldine of Portage; in-laws, Jerry and Arlene Tollison and Gloria and Gary Hoepner, all of Portage; brother-in-law, Allan Tollison of Florida; sister-in-law, Casandra Tollison Carlson of Portage; aunts, uncles, several cousins, and 3 cats, Riley, Tigger and Baby Scuffles, as well as the many animals which inherited the area around their home. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and a beloved aunt, Sharon Kelly.  

Memorial services will be held at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, Wisconsin, on Sunday, July 23, 2017, at 6:00 p.m., with Dr. Steven Corbett and Rev. Jeremy Edmondson co-officiating. Inurnment will be private. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on July 23, 2017.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Columbia County Humane Society, N7768 Industrial Road, Portage, WI 53901.
