Henry S. Jowett

LEWISTON TOWNSHIP – Henry S. Jowett, age, 76, of the Township of Lewiston, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018, at the Montello Care Center. 

Henry was born on October 11, 1941 in Portage, the son of Seldon and Evelyn (Johnson) Jowett.  He was married to Carol Ann Weidephul on June 1, 1968, at Portage United Methodist Church.  Carol preceded him in death on December 28, 2017.  Henry had worked at AMPI in Portage.  He was a member of Portage United Methodist Church. 

He is survived by his brothers, Bob (Debbie) Jowett, Black River Falls, and Bill (Margie) Jowett, Adams Friendship; his sister, Irma King, Michigan; his nephew, Bill (Ginger Prucha) Jowett, Poynette; other relatives and many friends. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Carol Ann, his sisters-in-law, Julie and Roseann Weidephul, and his brother-in-law, Greg Weidephul. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, with the Rev. Tom Countryman officiating.  Burial will follow at Silver Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
