Carol Ann C. Jowett

LEWISTON TOWNSHIP – Carol Ann C. Jowett, age 76, of the Township of Lewiston, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2017 at the Montello Care Center. 

Carol Ann was born on August 30, 1941 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Theodore and Alice (Flitter) Weidephul.  She was married to Henry Jowett on June 1, 1968 at Portage United Methodist Church.  Carol had worked at AMPI for 25 years.  She enjoyed fishing and solving crossword puzzles.  Carol loved to cook, especially Thanksgiving dinner for family and friends.  She was a member of Portage United Methodist Church. 

She is survived by her husband, Henry, Lewiston Township;  her nephew, Bill (Ginger Prucha) Jowett, Poynette;  brothers-in-law, Bob (Debbie) Jowett, Black River Falls, and Bill (Margie) Jowett, Adams Friendship;  sister-in-law, Irma King, Michigan;  other relatives and many friends.  Carol was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Julie and Roseann Weidephul, and her brother, Greg Weidephul. 

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, with the Rev. Tom Countryman officiating.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at noon on Saturday at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage.   Burial will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery. 

The family would like to extend an extra special thank you to Bill and Ginger for everything;  to Catie Jowett for spending time with Carol and always being there for her;  to Larry Hamele for his help throughout the years;  and also to Carol Hamele for coming out to the house to style Carol’s hair.  A special thank you to the ladies at Mason Station and Kwik Trip North for always helping Carol.
