Patricia "Pat" A. Johnson

PORTAGE – Patricia “Pat” A. Johnson, 86, of Portage, passed away on September 14, 2017, at UW Hospital in Madison after a brief illness.

Pat was born on July 21, 1931, in Portage to Walter and Eileen (Roesling) Warren. She was a member of
St. Mary Catholic Church in Portage.

Pat worked at Kerr’s Restaurant, Portage and Home Theaters, Portage Hosiery and Divine Savior Hospital and Nursing Home. Upon her retirement, she worked at the Portage Public School District as a substitute in the kitchen. She loved to walk, play cards, do puzzles, shop, go to craft shows and out for lunch. But most of all, she deeply loved spending time with her family. Pat was a very devoted and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Pat is survived by her daughter Linda (Terry) Raimer, Pardeeville; two grand-daughters Cortney Raimer
(John McRea and his son Aiden), Baraboo and Brittney (Josh) Kurutz, Sun Prairie; two great-granddaughters, Kylie and Khloe Kurutz, Sun Prairie; nephews Steve (Sue) Sewell, Deerfield and Rick (Sue) Sewell, Sun Prairie; niece Sandy (Bill) Saroukos, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law Mary (Betty) and Lyle Sewell.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Portage, with Fr. Jerome Maksvytis presiding. Inurnment will be in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Mary School Assistance Program.
