Faith A. Weix PACIFIC TOWNSHIP – Faith A. Weix, age 72, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 18, 2017, at her home in Pacific Township, surrounded by her loving family. Faith was born on April 4, 1945, in Antigo, Wisconsin, the daughter of Oscar and Virginia (Schmidt) Utnehmer. She attended the UW Eau Claire and then married her high school sweetheart, Thomas Weix, on June 11, 1966, in Antigo. Together, Faith and Tom moved nine times and Faith always made a home, no matter where they were. She worked in data entry, cooked and volunteered at a Catholic school, including the Home and School Boards and playground duty. While living in Ashland, Wisconsin, she worked with recovering alcoholics. She received her CNA license and was a caregiver for her mother, mother-in-law, father, grandmother and brother. Faith was a person who always put the needs of others first and family took priority over her own career. She grew up riding and showing horses, trail riding, and was a member of the Triple R Riding Club. She raised springer spaniels with her father and husband, Tom. Faith’s hobbies included flower arranging, crafts, canning and, most of all, her grandchildren and newest great-grandchild were her most important hobby of all. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made towards a memorial which will be established in Faith’s name. A special thank you to Agrace Hospice, Dr. Brenda Blohm, and all the family and friends who gave support through prayers, kind words, meals and hugs.
