Kathleen M. Oganezov

PORTAGE – Kathleen M. Oganezov, age 55, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2016, at her home in    Portage, surrounded by her loving family.

Kathy was born on November 1, 1960, in San Diego, California, the daughter of Robert and Mary Ann (Allard) Williams. She married Michael Oganezov on July 12, 1980 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waukegan, Illinois. Kathy worked for JoAnn Fabrics and enjoyed sewing, scrapbooking, gardening and crafts of all kinds. She loved spending time with family as a wife, mother and grandmother. She played guitar and sang the most memorable songs with her loved ones around the campfire. Kathleen was a member of the Eastern Star.  

She is survived by her father, Robert L. Williams of Portage; her husband, Mike Oganezov of Portage; children, Robert “Toby” Oganezov of Portage, John (Amy) Oganezov of Sun Prairie, Jeffrey Oganezov of Portage, Irene Oganezov of Portage, Philip Oganezov of Portage, Elizabeth “Elmo” Oganezov of Portage; grandchildren, Maya Anne Oganezov, Kalani Lea Oganezov, Lunaria Marie Oganezov, Novaraedyn Lea Oganezov, Dante Xavier Connor; brothers, Robert (Karen) Williams of Gary, Texas, Mark Williams of Tucson, Arizona; sister, Brigid (Nicholas) Ehly of Bozeman, Montana; sisters-in-law, Ann (Russell) Coffee of Surprise, Arizona, Mary (Larry) Buntt of Kingman, Arizona; brother-in-law, Samuel “Junior” Oganezov of Kingman, Arizona, best friends, Timothy and Deb Mormino of Mt. Carroll, Illinois; Ft. Winnebago Masonic Lodge members; co-workers from JoAnn Fabrics in Lake Delton; other relatives and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Ann “Mungie” Williams.  

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in Portage on Monday, October 17, 2016, at 12:00 noon, with Fr. Gary Krahenbuhl presiding. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Portage. Visitation will be at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Fort Winnebago Masonic Lodge.
