Wilma “Willie” Lee McMahon

Roanoke, Virginia  --  Wilma “Willie” Lee McMahon, age 75, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her sons and their wives, on Saturday, May 7, 2016.

Willie was born on December 11, 1940, the daughter of Albert and Sadie Seigel. She was married to James McMahon who preceded her in death. Willie cherished family and friends both in the Midwest and up and down the East Coast.

She is survived by three sons, Howard (Kim) McMahon, Adam (Maria) McMahon, and Albert (Karen) McMahon; brother, Steve Seigel; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren including the most recent William James Donovan Kane. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Rita Thayer.  

Private memorial services for the immediate family will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016, at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette with Chaplain Tom Drury presiding.  Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Poynette. A Celebration of Life for her Midwest friends and family will be held on Sunday, May 22, 2016, from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., at the Owl's Nest, 617 E. North St., Poynette, Wisconsin. Sharing of Memories will begin at 2:00 p.m. An additional East Coast Celebration of Life will be scheduled in the near future and details will be announced on-line.
