Norma will be sadly missed by her husband Peter Leahy; her sons, Peter (Susan) Leahy III, of Portage, Michael Leahy, of Madison, Stephen (Cheryl) Leahy, of Longmont, Colorado; her daughter, Nina Lindman (Ray Weigel), of Portage; her grandchildren, Nicholas Leahy, Sarah Leahy, Patrick Lindman and Natalie Lindman; her brothers, Mel (Doris) Lohr and David (Ruth) Lohr; her sister-in-law, Kathy Lohr, other relatives and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lois Lohr, her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Pete and Zona Leahy, her brothers, John and Bob Lohr, and her sister, Marion Nelson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, W8267 Hwy 33 East, Portage, with Rev. Julie Krahn officiating.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 23, 2016, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home (www.pmmfh.com) in Portage, and on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the church.

The family would like to thank all the wonderful, caring people at Tivoli for making Norma’s final months and days as comfortable as possible.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary’s School Endowment Fund, or the memorial of your choice.

You taught us all so much (Norma, Mom, Grandma) and you are leaving a huge void in our lives.  We love you and will miss you so very much!
