Sandra Lee Kuhn

PORTAGE --  Sandra Lee Kuhn, age 74, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2016, surrounded by those she loved.

Sandy was born on December 2, 1941, in her aunt’s home on the Portage Canal, on her aunt’s birthday;  the daughter of Delbert and Evelyn (Staudenmayer) Kuhn.  Sandy lived her entire life in Portage.  She had worked at Buchanan’s Grocery.  Then after graduating from Portage High School in 1960, she worked at Lauson’s Office and School Supply.  In 1964, Sandy began her career at American Family, working there for 30 years. 

She is survived by her sister, Jean Kuhn;  her niece, De Anna Lueptow;  her great-niece, Chelsea (Brad) Haight;  other relatives and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Donald Kuhn, her sister, Sue Lueptow, and her nephew, Tim Lueptow.  

Memorial services will be at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, with Rev. David Lusse officiating.  Inurnment will be private in Oak Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 23, 2016, at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage.
