Linda L. Knuteson

POYNETTE – Linda L. Knuteson, age 76, of Poynette, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg.

Linda was born on February 12, 1940 in Lancaster, Ohio, the daughter of Alonzo and Mildred (Williams) Perry.  She married Robert Knuteson on December 14, 1968 in the Township of Dekorra.  She had worked at Del Monte, Poynette Hardware, and in the kitchen at Poynette High School.    

She is survived by her husband; Robert, of Poynette; her children, Lori (Brian) DeGroff, of Lodi and Robert (Faith) Knuteson, Jr., of Poynette; her grandchildren, Jennifer (friend, Ben) Knuteson, of Evansville, Alisha (Alec) Leathers, of DeForest, Nicole and Nathan DeGroff of Lodi, Johnathan Knuteson, of Poynette, and Cierra Tearney of Poynette;  her great-grandchildren, Owen and Kylee Leathers, of DeForest.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Earl, Richard, George, and Lon, and by her sisters, Mary Ann and Rose.  

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 3, 2016 at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette.  Burial will follow in Dekorra Norwegian Lutheran Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.  A luncheon will be served at the Poynette Village Hall following the graveside service.
