Roxanne Marie Bartz

ENDEAVOR – Roxanne Marie Bartz, age 47, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016, at her home in Endeavor, after a courageous fight against breast cancer.

Roxanne was born on August 12, 1969, in Portage, the daughter of Gordon and Shirley (Dickman) Podrasky. She married Troy Bartz on January 2, 1997. Roxanne was a graduate of UW-Oshkosh and was an 8th grade Language Arts Teacher in the Wisconsin Dells School District for over 20 years.  She was always helping others and volunteering for various local organizations and clubs.                                   

She is survived by her husband, Troy Bartz of Endeavor; parents, Gordon and Shirley Podrasky of Portage; daughters, Raven Willow Bartz and Shelby Wren Bartz, both of Endeavor; siblings, Gordon R. (Carol) Podrasky, Brenda L. (Jeff) Haynes, Tammy J. (Rick) Day, all of Aurora, Colorado, and Timothy A. Podrasky of Portage; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at Wisconsin Dells High School in Wisconsin Dells, with Rev. Steve Keller officiating.  A receiving line will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  There will be a luncheon following the service at the school.
