Earl Paul Weyh

PORTAGE  --  Earl Paul Weyh, age 81, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Tivoli.

Earl was born on May 24, 1934, the son of Virgil and Paula Weyh of rural Portage.  He was married to Mary Schrab on June 15, 1961.  Earl served his country for 20 years with the U.S. Army, stationed in Vietnam, Korea, Germany and multiple stateside bases.  He had worked at the Portage Clark Station and Rocky’s Auto Salvage, and enjoyed working on cars. 

He is survived by his wife, Mary;  their children, Joseph (Eileen) Weyh, Baraboo, Robert (Jan) Weyh, Edgerton, Charles (Dawn) Weyh, Endeavor, and Connie Weyh, Madison;  his siblings, Russell (Kathy) Weyh, Franklin, North Carolina, Mary (Gary) Smith, Portage, and Jerry (Brenda) Weyh, Fond du Lac;  many grandchildren, other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother, Virgil “Bud” Weyh.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage.  Burial will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery, Lewiston Township, with military graveside services provided by Portage Area Veteran’s Honor Guard.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Saturday at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage.
