Elwood G. Pendleton

POYNETTE  --  Elwood G. Pendleton, age 71, of Poynette, passed away due to complications of Alzheimer’s Disease on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at Country Terrace in Poynette.

Elwood was born on June 20, 1944 in Janesville, the son of Leland and Evelyn Pendleton.  He was married to Barbara Pendleton in April of 1993.  Elwood had worked for 35 years in the Heating and Air Conditioning Industry in Portage. He loved woodworking. 

He is survived by his wife, Barbara; two sons, Michael (Patty) Pendleton, Pardeeville and David (Carla) Pendleton, Pardeeville;  two daughters, Mary Zemke, Friendship and Virginia (Greg) Van Haren, Sun Prairie;  ten grandchildren;  nine great-grandchildren;  two brothers and four sisters;  nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends locally and in Florida.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Laura Cory.                                    .

A celebration of life will be held from 12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. on November 7, 2015 at Dino's Restaurant, 2900 New Pinery Road in Portage.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers and Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin.

The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette is assisting the family.
