Elgin C. Paskey

TOWNSHIP OF LOWVILLE  --  Elgin C. Paskey, age 83, of the Township of Lowville, passed away on Friday, November 6, 2015, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg.

Elgin was born on February 11, 1932, in Madison, Wisconsin, the son of Edward and Agnes (Lee) Paskey. He was married to Ruth Herschleb on December 29, 1954.  Elgin farmed his entire life.  He was a lifetime member of Zion Lutheran Church in Leeds.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth;  three children, Steven (Amy) Paskey, Township of Lowville and their children, Rachel (Philip) Halbach, Kimberly (Mike) Manke, and Susan Paskey, Cindy (Joe) Brady, Cambridge and their children, Ben, Nate, and Mara Brady, and Linda (Kevin) Williams, Fox Lake and their children, Aaron, Leah, and Amanda Williams;  great-grandchildren, Lillian and Raymond Manke;  his brother- and sister-in-law, Glenn (Marilyn) Herschleb;  other near relatives and many close friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at Zion Lutheran Church in the Township of Leeds, with the Rev. Jacob Scott officiating.  Burial will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made for a memorial fund established in Elgin’s name.
