John Krause

MILWAUKEE / WISCONSIN DELLS / PORTAGE  --  John Krause, age 81, of Portage, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 at Divine Savior Healthcare Hospital.

John was born on March 19, 1933 in Chicago.  He served his country with the U.S. Marine Corp, during the Korean War.  John was married on November 24, 1956 in Milwaukee to Darlene Dumke.  He had been a law enforcement officer in Milwaukee and was an avid hunter and fisherman. 

John is survived by his wife, Darlene; children, Dawn (Tom) Urban, Milwaukee, Jim S. (Debbie) Krause, Portage, Richard A. (Cheryl) Krause, Milwaukee; grandchildren,  Michelle, Travis, Nicholas, Tyler and Ryan; two great-granddaughters, Michala and Cassidy; brothers, Wendell, David and Donald Krause. He is further survived by other relatives and many dear friends.

As per John’s wishes there will be no services held. 

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials may be made to Wisconsin Alliance for Alzheimer’s and Dementia – Portage Chapter or a charity of your choice.
