Anita (Erickson) Guthrie

PORTAGE  -- Anita (Erickson) Guthrie, age 64, of Portage, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at her home.

Anita was born on May 16, 1951 in Barron, Wisconsin, the daughter of Rudolph and Jessie (Foss) Erickson. She married William Guthrie on September 18, 1987. Anita worked as an executive assistant at the Catholic Charities of Madison for over 40 years. She loved family time, especially time with her 2 granddaughters, being with friends, coming home to her cats, Rudy, Marley, Josie, music and to travel.

She is survived by her husband, Bill, her son, Jeff (Tammy) Olson; granddaughters, MiKayla and Jenna Olson, all of Wyocena; brothers, Jerry and Larry (Geraldine) Erickson; brothers-in-law, Jim, Joe (Jennifer) and Steve (Barb) Guthrie; sisters-in-law, Linda (Lynda) Guthrie and Joan Miller; many other family members and many close friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rudolph and Jessie, a sister, Janet, brothers, Vernon, Ervin and Brad,Father -in-law, Eugene “Bubby” Guthrie and Mother-in-law, Joyce Guthrie.

A Celebration of Life will be from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Tolley’s Alleys, 817 E. Wisconsin Street, Portage.
