Beverly M. “Bev” Boehm

TOWNSHIP OF LOWVILLE  --  Beverly M. “Bev” Boehm, age 81, of the Township of Lowville, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Columbia Health Care Center in Wyocena.

Beverly was born on April 24, 1934 in the Town of Leeds, Wisconsin, the daughter of Carl and Frieda (Paskey) Puttkammer.  She was married to Donald Boehm in Poynette on October 24, 1958.  Bev was a long time resident of the Poynette area;  waitressing at the Blue Gables, Owl’s Nest and Mr. G’s.  She enjoyed many friendships while selling Avon products for over 20 years.  Bev took delight in many crafts; especially making greeting cards and crocheting.  She served as a member of the VFW Auxiliary for many years.  Bev especially loved spending time with her family, and was always there for anyone who needed her.  She was a wonderful mother, a loving wife, and lived life to its fullest.  Bev found beauty in all things.

She is survived by her husband, Don;  her son, Richard (Lynne) Boehm of Houston, TX and their children, Devann (Jake Blake) Boehm of Houston, TX, Justin (Stephanie) Boehm of Houston, TX, Trevor (Candice) Boehm of Austin, TX, and Mina Boehm of California; her son, Rolland (Judith) Boehm of Austin, TX and children, Lucas (fiancé, Anita Kashyap) Boehm of Wauwatosa, WI, Nicholas (Taylor Borman) Boehm of Denver, CO, Carrie (Nahum) Castillo, Tania (Brian) Peeler, and Dan Daum;  her daughter, Rhonda (Duane Ruhland) Rich of Sun Prairie and children, Crystal (fiancé, Ryan Wipperfurth) Wolf of DeForest and Haylie (Luke Smith) Wolf of Sun Prairie;  her son, Randall (Angela) Boehm and their children, Savannah and Kyle, all of Cincinnati, OH;  seven great-grandchildren;  her brother,  Raymond (Sandy) Puttkammer;  her canine companion, Kirby;  other near relatives and many close friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Lester, Robert and Marvin, and her sister, Velma.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 noon on Monday, December 21, 2015 at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette, with her grandson, Trevor Boehm officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, North Leeds.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon on Monday at the funeral home in Poynette.
