Michael W. Van Horn

PARDEEVILLE  --  Michael W. Van Horn, age 65, died on Sunday, October 6, 2013, following a long illness, at his home in Pardeeville surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren, and other family members.

Mike was born on November 3, 1947, the son of Della Rocket.  He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.  Mike was married to Donna “Suzie” Neff.  He had been a truck driver for 45 years and had also trained other drivers.  

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Suzie Van Horn; his children, Michelle Baker, Michael Van Horn, Christi Siksta, John Van Horn, Robert Hannig, Daniel Hannig, and Randy Hannig; 9 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild; his brother John (Chris) Borcher, other near relatives and friends.    

Private family services will be held at a later date, with Military Honors provided.  The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage is assisting the family.
