Edwin “Ed” W. Kelsey

POYNETTE  --  Edwin “Ed” W. Kelsey, age 74, of Poynette, died on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at his home in Poynette.

Ed Kelsey was born on January 6, 1939 at Walworth County Hospital in Darien, Wisconsin, to Forrest and Martha (Lange) Kelsey.  He married Leona Frank on August 17, 1963 in Milton, Wisconsin.  She preceded him in death on September 21, 2001.  Ed married Bonnie J. Berna on February 14, 2013 in Poynette.  He was the marketing manager for SI Feeders for 30 years. 

He is survived by his children, Mark (Patricia) Kelsey and their children, Rebecca, Nicholas, Takyra, Aaleigha and Nathan, Windsor, Eric (Renee) Kelsey and their children, Sabrina, Deven and Jamieson, Madison,  Deborah (Donald) Reinbold and their daughters, Haleigh and Mackenzie, Hubertus, and Elizabeth (Kevin) Ruhland and their children, Karina, Crystal and Cayden, Madison;  his wife, Bonnie J. Berna-Kelsey, Poynette;  his step-children, Lori (Travis) Chapman, Sun Prairie and their children, Brianne (Eric) Arnold and Amber (Drew Kraus) Chapman, all of Madison, and Dawn (Daniel) Eyre and their children, Conner, Quinn and Alexis, Germantown;  his great-granddaughter, Parker Arnold;  other relatives and many close friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Leona, and his son, Lane Kelsey. 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette, with the Rev. Ryan Rouse officiating.  Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 19, 2013 at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette, and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
