Sarah L. Holmes

PORTAGE  --  Sarah L. Holmes, age 28, of Portage, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013. 

Sarah was born on May 7, 1985, in Portage, the daughter of Edward Holmes and Lori (Alexander) Halverson.  She was a dedicated loving mother, and daughter.    

Sarah is survived by her children, Scarlett and Jaxson Hoeppner; her parents, Lori (Gary) Halverson, Portage, and Edward (Karla) Holmes, Dalton; her grandparents, Salliann Gray, Portage, and Robert Holmes, Pardeeville; her brothers and sisters, Chad Holmes, Shawana Holmes, Gary (Georgi) Halverson, Jr., and Kendra Agnew, special uncles, Jim, Ron, Kurt, Doug Alexander and Richie Weishoff; and Godmother, Aunt Lyn; other relatives and many, many friends.  She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lincoln Hoeppner, her grandmother, Shirley Holmes, her grandfathers, Donald Alexander, and Jerry Gray, her great-grandparents, Arthur and Edna Koepp, and Hazel and Bill Lasse, and her second-cousin, Caitlyn Lamb. 

Visitation will held on Thursday, May 23, 2013 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage.  Private burial will be held in Oxford Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial education fund has been set up at BMO Harris Bank of Portage.
