Karolyn S. Haney

MONTELLO  --  Karolyn S. Haney, age 74, of Montello, formerly of Arlington, died on Sunday, December 29, 2013 at Meriter Hospital in Madison.

Karolyn was born on May 12, 1939 in Hillsboro, the daughter of Henry and Evelyn (Curtis) Foltz.  She was married to Martin Haney.  Besides being a homemaker, Karolyn had worked as a nurse’s aide and a teacher’s aide in Poynette. 

She is survived by her husband, Martin, Montello; her son, Shawn (Brenda) Haney, DeForest; her grandson, Brandon Haney, DeForest; and her brother-in-law, Cliff (Sue) Haney, Evansville, other relatives and many friends.  Karolyn was preceded in death by her parents, and her son Martin D. Haney.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette with Rev. Marian Hendrickson officiating.  Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
