Elizabeth A. "Betty" Kaschinske

POYNETTE/WYOCENA –  Elizabeth A. “Betty” Kaschinske, age 80, died on Friday, August 24, 2012 at Columbia Healthcare Center in Wyocena.

Betty was born on October 12, 1931 in Portage, the daughter of Carleton and Ruth (Evans) Rubin.  She enjoyed playing Bridge with several local groups.  She was a devoted mother and grandmother.  

Betty is survived by her children, Kim (Bob) Henze, Arlington, Gary (Diana) Kaschinske, Poynette, Larry (Loralee) Kaschinske, Castle Rock, CO, and Kris (Craig) Urban, DeForest; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her sister, Gayle Rubin, Waunakee; her brothers-in-law, Bob (Caroline) Kaschinske, Portage, and Ken (June) Kaschinske, Michigan; her sister-in-law, Martha Anacker, Portage, other relatives and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Ruth Ann Daley, and her husband of 27 years, Raymond Kaschinske

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2012 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Poynette, with Fr. Raymond Dischler presiding.  A continuation of the celebration of Betty’s life will be held at the Leeds Town Hall following the service.  Inurnment will be held at a later date in Oak Grove Cemetery in Portage.  Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, at the church.  The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Poynette/Arlington/Dekorra Food Pantry.
