Ronald Joseph Bradley

Hortonville—Ronald Joseph Bradley, 76, of Hortonville and formerly of Pardeeville passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family and friends on Thursday, May 31, 2012 following a courageous battle with cancer.

Ron was born on August 18, 1935, in Randolph, the son of Joseph and Laura (Hermann) Bradley.  He served his country in the Army for several years.  Ron worked as a Welder for Ohio Medical in Madison for over 30 years until his retirement.  Ron enjoyed camping, fishing, mopeding, and spending time with his family and friends.

Ron is survived by his wife, Rita, of Hortonville; his  7 children, Valori (Bob) Mendrala, Portage; Bryan Bradley, Dalton; Darla (Pat Selthofner) Bradley, Pardeeville; Jenny (Tom) Baier, Oshkosh; Annett (Scott) Ulrich, Waunakee; Shelly Vasen, Lodi; Robert Simerson, Columbus; his grandchildren and great grandchildren; his brother-in-law, Philip Peterson, Pardeeville; other brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, and many friends.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Dorothy Peterson.

A memorial visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 5, 2012 from 4:00pm  to 7:00pm at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage.  Private inurnment will be in the Marcellon Cemetery.
