Joanne Therese Weeks

PARDEEVILLE – Joanne Therese Weeks, age 79, of Pardeeville, passed away on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at her home.

Joanne Holdampf was born on February 17, 1932 in Milwaukee, the daughter of Frank and Clarice (Lofy) Holdampf. She married Richard Weeks on April 18, 1953. Joanne worked as a secretary for Columbia County and for St. Mary Catholic School in Portage. Joanne loved bowling, golfing, crossword puzzles, playing bridge and sheepshead, gardening, but most of all spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by husband, Richard; her children, Stephanie Heim, Richard (Cathy) Weeks, Timothy (Susan) Weeks, Jennifer (Greg) Schwister and Kathryn (Bradley) Kok; grandchildren, Geoffrey Heim, Emily Heim (Stanley), Ashley Kraft, Melissa Wescott (Donnie), Alexander Storr, Amanda Weeks (Jon), Alexandra Weeks, Curtis Schwister and Annie Schwister; great grandchildren, Thien Weeks, Mason Thomas, Dominic Horan, Gabriel Kraft and Ava Kraft; brother, Frank Holdampf; sister, Kathleen Griese; other relatives and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 12, 2011 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Portage, with Fr. Jim Murphy presiding. Inurnment will be private. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the church. Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
