Marie D. Parpart

LODI / ARLINGTON – Marie D. Parpart, age 83, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2011at Our House in Lodi.

Marie was born on May 14, 1927, in East Bristol, Dane County, the daughter of Edmund and Helen (Meartz) Warmuth.  She married Erich Parpart on October 6, 1949; he preceded her in death in 2008.  Marie worked at Central Colony for 10 years, Research Products, in Poynette, for over 10 years, and Del Monte, for over 6 years. 

Marie is survived by her children, Helen M. “Susie” (Terry) Rein, Wausau, Erich A. (Dana) Parpart, Stoughton, and Robert J. (Rae) Parpart, Arlington; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, her sisters, Caroline Monroe, Clinton, and Sally Ehlenfeldt, Poynette; her brothers, Ralph Warmuth, Sun Prairie, and Jerry (Arlene) Warmuth, Baraboo, other relatives and many friends.  Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Erich on March 29, 2008.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 18, 2011 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Poynette, with Fr. Raymond Dischler presiding.  Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 17, 2011 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette, and on Monday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.
