Sue A. Blochwitz

 

PARDEEVILLE/PORTAGE  --  Sue A. Blochwitz, age 64, of Pardeeville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 19, 2011, surrounded by her family.

Sue was born in 1946 in Portage, the daughter of Rodney and Bernadene (Quade) Blochwitz.  She married Jack John Bray on April 1, 1988.  Sue graduated from UW Madison with a degree in Library Science.  She spoke Mandarin and taught English in Taiwan.  Sue was a naturalist, and enjoyed gardening; she knew all the native names of plants.  She loved to sing and dance, and race walking; she was a member of the Parkside Race Walking Club, and was a certified USA track/field race walking judge.  In addition, Sue enjoyed watercolor painting, tai-chi, traveling, getting together with siblings for tea parties, and writing realistic and fictional stories.   She was an I.I.Q.T.C. certified Chi Kung instructor, as well as a certified Reiki practitioner.  Sue was an Edgar Cayce follower, and a certified crystal practitioner.                 

Sue is survived by her husband, Jack John L. Bray, Pardeeville; her sisters and brothers; Linda (Harold) Cross, Scott Blochwitz, Stephen Blochwitz, Julie Anderson, Jeanne (Peter) Blochwitz, and Jannette Blochwitz; ten nephews and nieces, six great-nephews and great-nieces, other relatives and friends.  She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and her brother, Carter.    

Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage is assisting the family.
