Robert W. Barrick

PORTAGE – Robert W. Barrick, age 40, of Portage, passed away very suddenly on Wednesday, October 26, 2011, at his mother’s home, as a result of a heart attack.

Bob was born on May 17, 1971, in Madison, the son of Thomas and Joan (Wescott) Barrick.  He was preceded in death by his father in 1998.  

He is survived by his mother, Joan Barrick, Portage; his daughter, Corissa Alberti, West Allis; his sister, Kelly (Donald) Mooney, Lyndon Station; his brother, David (Sherry) Barrick, Necedah; his aunts, Jean Mootz, Dorothy (Paul) Hilgendorf, and his uncle, Richard Jenkins, all of Portage; his nieces and nephews, Jessie and Emily Mooney, Rachel, Maribeth, and Sarah Barrick, and Kayla Brey, as well as many cousins and friends.  Besides his father, he was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, his uncles Joseph Mootz and William Wescott, and his aunts, Betty Knudsen and Kay Jenkins.  

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2011, at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, with Rev. David Hankins officiating.  Private inurnment will be held at a later date.  There will be no visitation prior to the service.
