WYOCENA - Gladys L. Abbott, 93, died Thursday March 10, 2011 at Columbia County Healthcare Center, Wyocena, WI.

She was born September 19, 1917 in Sharon, Kansas to Freburn (Tad) and Edith Maude (Ingram) Dunkin. She married Lee Raymond Abbott on July 2, 1934.  He preceded her in death on March 11, 1992.  She was a member of Free Will Baptist Church in Bristow, OK.  She was highly noted for her crocheted Crosses and Angels that she made and gave with love. She was very proud of her family of; 7 children, 17 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 16 great-great grandchildren.

Tad (Penny) Abbott, Oxford, WI.,  Trudy (Greg) Dettmann, Rio, WI., Gloria Elaine Eaton, Tucson, AZ., Vernon (Joanne) Brown, Norman, OK., Vicky (Rick) Taylor, Bristow, OK.,  Jimmy (Dawn) Brown, Bristow, OK., Bryan Abbott, Copperas Cove, TX., Bruce Abbott, San Tan Valley, AZ., Danny Tidwell, OR, Tesica (Ron) Fallier, Manitowoc, WI.  Ambrosio (Tina) Altamirano Jr., Marana, AZ.,  David (Donna)  Altamirano, Rillito, AZ.,  Great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, One Sister, Gloria Maxine Bennett, Concord, CA.   A Brother-in-law, Harvey Harger, Medicine Lodge, KS.  Many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, son-in-laws, Ambrosio Altamirano, Daniel Tidwell. a foster son, Lee Robinson, Grandchildren; Rick Eaton, Carlos Altamirano, Great-grandchildren; Stephanie, Witney Jahn,  Great-great-grandchild, Nicholas High; Brother-in-law, LeRoy (Velma) Abbott, Gordon Bennett, Sister-in-law; Alta Harger.

Memorial service will be held at Free Will Baptist Church, Bristow, OK at a later date. The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage is assisting the family.
