Angela K. Arnold

PORTAGE/OXFORD  --  Angela K. Arnold, age 51, died of cancer on Friday, December 2, 2011, at Tivoli Health Care in Portage.

Angela was born in Mildenhall, England on March 1, 1960, the daughter of Frederic and Nancy (Chappie) Langbecker.  She graduated from Portage High School in 1978.  Angela completed Computer Programming courses at MATC in Madison and earned a Secretarial certification from MATC Portage.  She worked for the Portage Daily Register, was employed at Spartec as a receptionist/secretary, and most recently worked at the Adams County Courthouse in the Child Support Agency.  Angela married John E. Arnold on August 25, 1998.  

She is survived by her husband, John Arnold, Oxford; her son, Adam Langbecker, Dubuque, Iowa; her parents, Fred and Nancy Langbecker, Portage; her brother, Clifton (Rissel) Langbecker, Scottsdale, Arizona, other relatives and many friends.  

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2011at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Portage with Fr. Jim Murphy presiding.  Inurnment will be private.  Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, at the church.  The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage is assisting the family.

Thanks to the staff at Tivoli and Dr. Susan Kreckman for their kindness and loving care, and to those who participated in bringing joy to Angela during these past  months.
