Doloris R. Weishoff

Doloris R. Weishoff passed to the other side on Friday, February 26, 2010, after a long struggle with diabetes, PKD, and congestive heart failure.  She will be missed by all.

Doloris was born in Poynette, moved to Montana, and finally settled in Alamagordo, NM, where she lived, loving the warm New Mexico sun.  She had worked at Portage Hosiery and Kmart for many years.  Doloris loved music, from country to modern rock, photography, crafts, and traveling around the country with her kids.  She will be remembered for her love of family and the love to live in the moment.  Her favorite song was “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”, and that is how she lived her life, “Somewhere Over The Rainbow”.

She is survived by her son, Philip (Dawn) Portzen, Livingston, MT;  her brother, James (Marie) Buzzell, Alamagordo, NM;  her sister, Donna (Mike) LaFluer, New Richmond, WI;  other relatives and many close friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Weishoff, her son, Jon Portzen, her brother, James Kleist, and many other relatives.

According to Doloris’ wishes, there will be no service.

“Egogahan” (Apache for “Until we meet again.”)

The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage is assisting the family.  www.pmmfh.com
