Marjorie A. Schultz

POYNETTE/BELLEVILLE  --  Marjorie A. Schultz, age 99, died on Wednesday, December 8, 2010, at Heartsong Assisted Living in Belleville, thirteen days before her one hundredth birthday.

Marjorie was born on December 21, 1910, in the Town of Lincoln, in Kewaunee County, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Prausa) Wochos.  She married Lester Schultz who preceded her in death in 1984.

Marjorie spent most of her life in Poynette, with Lester.  She was an incredible cook and an avid home gardener.  Marge was particularly proud of being a nationally accredited flower show judge and participated in major shows across the United States.  A long time member of St Thomas Catholic Church in Poynette, Marge's magnificent flower arrangements where admired by everyone who entered the church for countless Sunday mornings. 

Survivors include her sons, Donald L. (Sara) Schultz of Aguanga, CA, and Paul G. (Carolyn) Schultz of Allen, TX, five grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.  Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and sisters and her husband, Lester.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at the Don and Marilyn Anderson Hospicecare Center, 5395 East Cheryl Parkway, Madison, Wisconsin 53711 (608) 276-4660  at 1 PM  with Father Tony Schumacher officiating.  A private family inurnment will be held in Hillside Cemetery in Poynette.   The Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette is assisting the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Don and Marilyn Anderson Hospicecare Center  5395 East Cheryl Parkway, Madison, Wisconsin 53711 (608)276-4660.

The family wishes to thank the staff and personnel at the Belleville Heartsong Assisted Care Center for their dedicated service beyond measure in making these past years so comfortable and enjoyable for Marge.  Heartsong was Marge's second loving family.  Also we wish to thank the staff at Green County Social Services for facilitating Marge's excellent care, and finally the Hospice Center Team at the Don and Marilyn Anderson Hospicecare Center in Madison who have truly been God sent during these past few months.  The family will be forever thankful for all you have done.
