Carolyn A. Ribaudo

 

PORTAGE  --  Carolyn A. Ribaudo, age 71, died on Thursday, January 20, 2011, at Divine Savior Healthcare Hospital in Portage.

Carolyn was born on September 11, 1939, in Oak Park, Illinois, the daughter of John and Alma (Jerde) Sullivan.  She married Phillip P. Ribaudo on June 29, 1957 in Chicago.  Carolyn loved to fish with Phillip, especially in Hayward.  Together, they loved to travel on long road trips.  She was a member of River of Life Church, in Portage.

She is survived by her daughters, Debora (Greg) Kluge, Portage, and Denise (Mike ) Blecher, Oswego, IL; her grandchildren, Melissa (special friend, Duane) Jurgenson, Portage, Ryan (Lauren) Bocinsky, Montello, Michael Blecher, Oswego, IL, Dyanna Blecher, Oswego, IL; her great-grandchildren, Briana Jurgenson, and Braylon Jurgenson, Portage; a sister, Joan(Bob) Harazin, Antioch, IL, other near relatives and many close friends.  Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Phillip, on November 8, 2006, and an infant daughter, Dyanna. 

Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2011, at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, with Pastor Bob Turner officiating.  Inurnment will be private.  Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
