Paul A. Kobleski, Jr.

 

LEWISTON TOWNSHIP  --  Paul A. Kobleski, Jr., age 81, died on Wednesday, January 5, 2011, at Tivoli in Portage.

Paul was born on December 26, 1929, in Milwaukee, the son of Paul Anthony and Stella (Banach) Kobleski, Sr.  He served in the United States Army from 1951 to 1958; proudly serving in the Korean War.  Paul worked for 40 years as a machinist at Modern Machine Works in Cudahy.  He loved hunting and fishing, and building bird houses, and assembling model planes, cars and trains. 

Paul was a loving husband and father, he is survived by his wife, Betty; his children, Robert Kobleski, Kathleen (Arthur) Acheson, Pauline (Timothy) Hoyt, and Steven Kobleski; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren with one more on the way; a brother, a sister,  best friends, Cindy, Carlo, and Kathy Hermann, other relatives and friends. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 11, 2011, at St. Mary Catholic Church in Portage, with Fr. Ray Dischler presiding.  Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery in Portage.  Visitation will be held on Monday, January 10, 2011 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, with a Rosary service at 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name.
