Timothy William Kasprzak

Timothy William Kasprzak December 16, 1957 - June 28, 2010 Resident of Portage Wisconsin passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by his family and beloved dog Maggie.  Tim was born in Bellefontaine, OH and was a class of 1977 graduate from Poynette High school.  Throughout his life, Tim wore many hats.  He worked as a mechanic, security guard, car salesman, and United States Postal Inspector.  Most recently he worked in the shipping and receiving department at Trachte Building Systems until his diagnosis with cancer in November of 2009.  Tim also played an active role in the community, serving on the Dekorra town board for a duration of two terms. 

Tim was the eldest of five children born to Richard Kasprzak and Jill Kasprzak-Smith.  He was the beloved husband of Trudy Kasprzak for thirty-one years and father of two children, Trisha Nesbit wife of Adam Nesbit, and Trevor (fiancé, Elizabeth Lentz) Kasprzak.  Tim will be forever remembered by his step-father, Dr. Arlan Smith; step-mother, Nyoka Kasprzak; brothers, John Kasprzak, Elliott Kasprzak; and sisters, Wendy Boehm, Caroline Ashmore, Inge Kasprzak and Emily Kasprzak;  in addition to countless friends and family. 

Tim enjoyed camping with his family, fishing, and spending the time in the outdoors.  His laughter was contagious to all.  He could always find humor in the most difficult of situations.  He always put the needs of others in front of his own, helping whenever he could.  Tim will live forever in our hearts and will be greatly missed. 

We would like to thank his friends, family, and coworkers for their continued support as we say goodbye to a great man. 

A celebration of Tim’s life will be held at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, Wisconsin at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, July 2, 2010, with Pastor Mike Amberg officiating.  Inurnment will be private.  Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Friday at the Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage.
