Terry L. Smith

LAKE MILLS/PORTAGE  -- Terry  L. Smith, age 63 of Lake Mills, died on Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at University Hospital in Madison.

Terry was born in St. Savior General Hospital in Portage on October 10, 1946, the son of William C. and Norma J. (Pike) Smith.  He graduated from Portage High School.  Terry especially enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as spending time with his grandchildren.      

Terry is survived by his sons, Adam (Heidrun) Smith, Westfield, Tyler Smith, Madison, and Ryan (Elizabeth) Smith, Rio; his grandchildren, Riley, and Gabriel; his step-grandson, Joshua; his brothers and sisters, Craig Smith, Poynette, Gloria Tsitsis, Pardeeville, Jacqulyn (Wayne) Bortz, Pardeeville, Bonnie (Dave) Denham, Cambria, many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many close friends.  Terry was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, William C. Smith, Jr., and his sister, Roselynn Goldy.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 18, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. at Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Portage, with Pastor Harley Hansel officiating.  Burial will follow in Pacific Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Monday, from 12:00 noon, until the time of the service at the funeral home.
